VHX 5000 is a very versatile light microscope equipped with exchangeable zoom objectives and epi- or trans-illumination. It allows automatic capture of single images, 2D panoramas, 3D surface rendering and video acquisition. The software enables semiautomatic detection, analysis of objects and measurements in 2D or 3D. For many projects, this microscope is a faster (less demanding sample preparation, faster imaging) and cheaper alternative to scanning electron microscopy.
